These worked as replacements for my 1990 Ford Bronco door striker bushings, but they do mention "tailgate/liftgate" in the title and they do not work for that on '90 Ford Broncos. They are too long and the bolt is not able to engage into the nut. They could maybe be cut down, but that would take some extra work.

Simple and straightforward replacement of old brittle and broken door strike bushings. My old truck is a 1992 Ford F150. The listing showed that it would fit my vehicle correctly and they do.It took me longer to find my torx bits than it did to replace the old bushings.Be aware that the torx bolt screws into a captive nut in the door jamb. This bolt doubles as striker mount and strike adjustment as well. After replacement you may have to fine tune its position before the final tightening.

Photos: Bushing on door striker, Bushing as it came next to tailgate bolt, Bushing cut to fit tailgate bolt, Bushing cut to fit on tailgate.I have an ‘86 Ford Bronco. I needed a new bushing for the door and tried this one which should have fit according to the listing information provided. It did not. It had a bigger diameter than the stock bushing so after i installed it as a direct swap without customizing it, I couldn’t get the door open. i had to climb inside and kick the door open. At first I thought the striker plate was off (too high or low) so I tried to align that first but after fiddling for a while I found out that the diameter was just too big.I figured I could try it on the tailgate and it was a better fit there but I had to cut down the length. It works just fine for the tailgate so if you happen to need that, there you go, but I’m guessing that’s not why you’re here.I also have an ‘89 Bronco (which it should fit according to their info), but it bound up on those doors too.

I ordered these for a 93 Ford Mustang Cobra. The listing indicated they would fit that year and make. But unfortunately they are insufficient and don’t improve the latching of the door. My body guy said he couldn’t use them, and we should order from another supplier. You mileage may vary.
