Used on 1980 Ford F150 doors closed excellent nowOnly reason for giving them four stars is they did not paint The black part. It is just bare steel.

Screws in but the plastic is too big for my door to close all the way shut. The Dorman 38448 Door Striker Fit my 1987 Ford F-250 perfectly.

They worked and fit but it's a very tight fit.My door doesn't sag and still worked well, but the old striker bushing fell off.I could press the outside handle button and press the door closed and it would fully latch. Not possible with this striker, it had to be forcefully shut, not slammed but it close to it.I'm hopeful that they will wear in and close easier with time without breaking the plastic. You can also see the Torx socket was pressed/cut into the head, whereas the OEM looks forged.I suspect it's a softer lower grade steel than OEM (the oem cost over 60 each at the dealer!)I Hope My Review And Pictures Were Helpful To You
