I bought these on more of a whim. I didn't really know if they would come in handy but they are absolutely fantastic for fishing. Little things out of the drain like wedding rings or earrings. They're also great for grabbing a piece of toast. That's too hot out of the toaster. They're not meant for big things so I don't use them for such. When these were out I will definitely be getting another set

I have a large hand and the tongs are useable but not very comfortable in my hand after a few minutes. They are not stored easily unless hung.The tongs are not for the BBQ cook on a large grill unless you're wearing heat resistant mitts. They're not long enough to keep you away from the heat especially if you're reaching to the back of the grill.I wouldn't use them when cooking in a non-stick pan, metal utensils and non stick pans don't mix.I'd be very selective on the seafood I used these on, for example I would not us them when cooking scallops but would on shrimp. Where they are useful in grabbing cooked food such as sausage, hotdogs, chicken, and corn also reaching onto jars.

These are probably the best tongs I have used in a long time. They are very sturdy and stiff enough to grab things easily and because they are thin, similar to chopsticks, they're very versatile and I'm able to easily use them. They may not work for every situation but they do work for a lot of things, and better than normal tongs.
