I love seeing my spices in clear jars, but there were a few I wanted to have in shakers because I use them frequently and don't need to measure. These were a perfect solution. With two sizes of shaker holes as well as a pour spout, they are exactly what I needed. I'm going to order more!

If you have any spices you use often, they work very well. Not just for salt and pepper. That said they are not what I would call airtight exactly. We use them for cinnamon which can get a little messy but ok. We also use them for chia and hemp seeds.

These adjustable holes are great for large grinds. Careful! Adjusting for hole size can loosen the top. Then the whole shaker empties on your fabulous plate of food! My family has been forewarned and they love these shakers. AND...they hold a.huge amount!

I like to make my own taco or other mixture of seasoning, and wanted something to keep it fresh, and easy to sprinkle on steaks, burgers, etc. While it's convenient if you've got very finely powdery grinds of spices or dried herbs, even the large holes let the flow stop.They're nicely made, but 1/8" holes should allow free flow of almost anything with little effort. These do not.

One of the Bottles metal ring came out on first use. It could have damaged someone. Disappointed in quality
