The DC plug on my order car was burned out due to overload and doesn't resume even with broken fuse replaced. So I have to jumper the harness between the power supply module with direct connection to the DC plug. This waterproof relay with with 40/30 amp turns out to be a great solution, the cable gauge is heavy enough to handle large current and the mount is reserved that I can fasten it to the fuse box with the wires route smoothly to the DC power plug. Given it is outside the fuse box, the waterproof feature is very important and holds the leak tightness well with no issues during the recent storms even with the outer jacket of the relay gets wet.
