Great value. Worked as advertised. I only needed the normally open contacts (close when relay energized). Was difficult to read the contact (30, 85, 86, 87, 87a) designations (they were very small), but figured it out o.k.

This 5 pin relay is great! I love how easy it is to install these as well! They are well made and coated well! This coating makes me feel assured that these wires are waterproof and will withstand the weather! I am impressed with the performance of this kit! It works well as well as it came with everything you need. This is a 40 amp kit with high quality 12 and 16 AWG thinned copper! It has a sturdy harness as well and it is great for the use on my diesel! It pulls and holds the currents well and does not drop much honestly. It is mind blowing how much new and good and working relay really can make the difference on a fuel pump or a blower motor or more.

When you're building/maintaining hot rods, the need for relays pops up all the time. These can operate heavy-duty fuel pumps, horns, headlights, etc. I keep a number of them on hand to use as needed. Forty amps is pretty heavy demand.

These aren't the first relays I've used like these, but these are just as robust as any before. You'll need a screwdriver to pry the connectors open, which is a good thing. 5-pin are so versatile, I don't buy 4-pin anymore, unless the larger 5-pin just won't fit in the space I have to mount the relay. The only nit I had with these is the bottom seal around the wires was not seated well out of the box, but pushing it in to where it IS seated is finger easy. Be aware that you will need at least 150 mA to trigger these relays. I sprayed one with the garden hose while active in a test scenario, and yes, waterproof.
