Direct replacement. Light is as bright as the original lights. I ordered other lights from Amazon. They were dim and one out of two did not work. I returned it and purchased these. I only needs two, purchased five, this way I’ll have spares for the future.

After I realized our Jenn-Air freezer had no light and one was out in the fridge side, I opted to try and replace the bulbs myself vs a $150 service fee from the local appliance repair. My husband was able to replace them all in minutes and so far so good..he did replace all of them, but the one that spearheaded was the one in the fridge. The pricing was a fraction of the manufacturer’s price. So I hope I get a few years out of them. It was good to watch the videos on replacement so you don’t scratch the inside of the unit. That was helpful. We didn’t need any extra tools for replacement either or parts.

I have a Kitchenaid 5 drawer Refrigerator. This model has two sets of LED lights that are throughout the Refrigerator, drawers, and freezer. And these lights work in a series, so when one light goes out, the entire series goes out. I purchased these lights and replaced some of my lights and found the bad light. Now all my lights are working.

They work and are a fraction of the cost from the Kitchen Aid website. However 2 out of 10 did not work.

Whoever thought wiring the refrigerator/freezer light in series so that if one fails they all go off, was nuts! Good thing they are easy to replace!
