I got these clavos nails for some diy shelves I built in my office out of 2x12 stairs treads to hold some of my thrifted/vintage treasures. These took the plain wood & elevated them into a gorgeous display for my treasures and don't look diy at all IMHO. They're sturdy and well made. To install them, I pre-drilled pilot holes after spacing them out evenly on both boards. I have a good amount left, maybe enough for another shelf so the price is certainly a good value for the amount you get. I'm ordering more to add to some diy shutters for the front of my home. They're black with a hammered design and we're easy to paint gold to match my decor and the shelf brackets that I also bought on Amazon.
