I seem to find many uses for these caps in electrical projects, particularly outdoors. Frequently, I will fill these caps with silicone sealant and slide them over wire connections, such as those made in landscape lighting projects. I use them in place of wire nuts and the connections inside are then perfectly water proofed and basically impossible to come apart.

I bought them to cover some bolts that stick out of a post i scraped my hand or arm on. i purposely hit it with my hand and no new cut. Works great.

Good quality product. Not too soft, not too firm. Ideal for my particular needs.

These work great for more than what they are intended for. Actual lead protectors are quite expensive. These work just as well.

I needed end caps that were heavier than vinyl caps to cushion the end of steel rods and these are at least twice as thick. I don't use them for powered coating but they appear to be tough, durable, and reusable.
