Bought to replace the moldy gasket on my Electrolux washer. I have tried every cleaner available, used vinegar, the pink stuff, oxi, etc etc, and nothing removed it. I never closed the washer door after using, yet the smell was awful. It also turns out the filter that should have been easily accessible near the front of the machine is located inside the machine under the drum, requiring dismantling to reach. Slimy brown gunk was everywhere inside the machine. This gasket and four hours of cleaning after completely opening the innards of the machine has given me a new washer. The new gasket material is far superior to the original and easy to wipe off after doing my weekly loads of wash. I’m very happy but must caution, this fix is for the mechanically proficient handy person!🌟
