It’s been super handy for all the little projects I’ve been working on around the house. It's got a 6.5 Amp motor and 610 watts of power, which makes cutting through metal feel smooth and easy. I’ve been using it for a few things like pipes and trim for the metal roof we're installing, and it’s been cutting through everything like butter. One of the things I really like about it is how compact it is. It doesn’t take up much space on the table, so it's perfect if you don’t have a ton of room. Plus, the cord is pretty long, so you can move around without having to worry about finding a closer outlet. The saw runs at 8000 RPM, so it gets the job done pretty quickly, even with tougher materials. You can really feel the power behind it when it's running. This has a solid weight to it and feels pretty safe, even when I’m cutting at awkward angles. Definitely a good buy if you need something reliable for small to medium cutting tasks.

This grinder takes a 6"( 160mm) cutoff wheel with a 20mm arbor, wheels this size are not avilable in the US. Attempting to put a US Standard 7/8" arbor wheel on this tool would be dangerous. After the wheel that comes with this tool wears out you might as well throw it away. Cutoff wheels are consumed fairly rapidly in this typ of cutting.

I'm a chick that hardly ever needs a chop saw... but when I do, I want one that's simple to operate and I don't need to do 378 things before I can cut the small piece of metal that I need. This machine does just that. Yes, there is a lot of plastic. It's light and easy to move around, if needed. If all you need is the occassional metal cut and not doing major production work, this is perfect!

The Cobra-Tek 6" Chop Saw has been a handy tool for cutting metal with precision. With its 6.5-amp motor and 8000 RPM speed, it handles most cutting tasks efficiently, especially for compact jobs. The saw is lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it perfect for smaller projects or when space is limited. The corded design ensures consistent power throughout use, and I haven’t had any issues with it bogging down during cuts. It’s compact, which makes it convenient to store and transport. However, for heavier-duty projects, a larger saw might be needed, as this one is best suited for lighter tasks.Overall, this chop saw has worked well for my basic metal-cutting needs. It's reliable, portable, and gets the job done without much hassle.

Works great. Good "bang for buck." A lot of it's plastic, so if you are looking for something for occasional use, this is the ticket!. Not sure how it would hold up on a job if you were using it all the time, but It's given me no problems for the times I've used it recently.

Nice little unit. Not as heavy as more expensive chop saw, but it did the job smoothly without much effort. I think this unit fills a niche nicely for someone not needing to do production work.Occasionally I cut rebar to make stakes, and this sure beats using a Sawzall. The smaller size also makes it better to store away when not needed.
