I replaced the glow plugs in my 2008 Sprinter Diesel. They fit just like the ones that I replaced and the light for glow plugs went out and hasn’t come back on. I used a torque wrench to get them to the OEM spec. Worked well.

Exact replacement for the 2012 freightliner sprinter 3.0 diesel absolutely no problems with my replacement.FYI pb blaster soak the glow plugs for 2-3 days prior to changing. The glow plug replacement needs to be done when the engine is as close to operating temperature as possible. “Suck part of replacement†(also why I did one at a time)Use the torque wrench to remove the plug/s, set it to the torque you install it and this way you know how much you can use on them “very small diameter with heating element inside, can/will be brittle†I put pressure against the glow plug and pushed until the torque wrench clicked and went back and click back click back click, if it doesn’t come, maybe have to try another day, I added 2in lbs on mine and it eventually came loose, took 50-80 clicks, spray with pb blaster and tighten it so the pb can go down threads “they are sticky from diesel sludge. Then it should be ready to back all the way out, if it clicks, pb again retighten then back out again. GENTLY! If you get impatient and break it off, the remedy is removing the head!!“I only replaced the bad one so farâ€For mine I read that using a little antiseize will be helpful for reinstall and later replacement, I believe you use a couple less lbs on torque wrench… I believe I used the standard torque anyway, antiseize is antiseize 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸ sure don’t wanna ford blowing things out.I have had no problems and suggest this to any sprinter diesel owner, the caps for the plugs are a bugger. I used a needle nose vice grip and it was needed they sell pliers but they are cost prohibitive for owner with 1 van.YouTube videos of many different people so choose your type man woman old young for tips if necessary. SAVED $250-$450 on just the bad one so far.I recommend the seller and the product. Save yourself $20 per over part store too.

I purchased these January 2023. The box looked correct and the plugs were labeled like a genuine BOSCH product. I had these installed February 2023 and they worked great. It got me through the rest of the winter. Colt temps 2024 are coming around and I'm back to failed glow plugs. Four out of the six plugs have failed. I'll be purchasing from the BOSCH store to make sure I'm getting genuine parts.

I have not installed the glow plugs yet after receiving them. The only concern I have is that packaging where the individual glow plugs came in where damaged and the boxes taped with shipping tape. This does not look good for any product. I validated the codes on the boxes as legitimate, but I did not see any markings on the glow plugs indicating they are actually BOSCH OEM parts. This is a valid concern because I would not want to be stuck with knock off parts.

Waste of money just go straight to bosh plugs got them on Amazon too and they are burning long and strong, thank me later.
