These easily just 'hammer' into the wall. When you get to the threaded portion, just use a Philips head screwdriver to screw the anchor in the rest of the way, till it's flush to the wall. Then insert the screw and screw away! They're nice and sturdy. I only really needed a few of them but this was a great price so I decided to go for it!

I picked up this TYTDOUTER drywall anchor kit for hanging some pictures and a small shelf. The self-drilling design is convenient – no need for pre-drilling holes, which is a plus. They seem to grip the drywall pretty well, and I haven't had any issues with them pulling out. The included screws are a good match. They claim to hold up to 75 lbs, but I wouldn't push it that far. I'd say they're best for lighter to medium-weight items. For heavier stuff, I'd probably use something more heavy-duty. Overall, these are great for quick and easy hanging jobs, just don't overload them.

Great anchor screws. These were fantastic. We used these for a few projects so far and work by far better than any other and in various types of walls. These are easy to use and great to have for any project. These are an absolute excellent value.

I have used this screw -in style of anchor for years. I discovered this split design as an improvement which expands better when the screw is tightened, making it very tight and strong. The solid design can loosen up over time.

I own a home that was built in 1925 and was recently renovated. The walls are made of plaster; if you've ever lived in a home with plaster walls, you know my pain. The house and walls are built like a Sherman tank! They truly will outlive me... but they're a nightmare when trying to locate a stud in the wall or when you need to anchor something to the wall. The plaster was coated over wooden slats, making the walls extra thick and durable while also making them almost impossible to scan (through) when trying to locate a stud or metal object. Additionally, if you try to nail into the plaster, it simply crumbles and flakes into dust from what seems like plaster cement. Nails and common screws are mostly useless on plaster walls. But these screw-in anchors, with their wide flute, so they're able to grip the cement plaster as they're screwed in, are the BEST option I've discovered to date when needing to secure something to my plaster walls. These anchors are sturdy and easy to install. They spread slightly once the screw is inserted, which just adds more pressure to the grip of the anchor once it's been screwed into place. I have tried other anchors that simply flared out once a screw was inserted, but nothing works better than these anchors with their wide wings/flute, which grip the concrete plaster as they're screwed into place - then flared slightly to hold them even more. I highly recommend these anchors to anyone needing a strong/firm grip on anything secured to a wall - especially if the walls are made from plaster. I've yet to find anything that works better than these - when it comes to plaster walls...
