I bought this as a replacement for the glass one that cracked when the water froze into ice but this one also cracked in the same conditions. I will buy another because it is easy to read and fits in my stand. But this time it will go in the garage when the weather freezes 😂

I had purchased a rain gauge with decorative holder on Amazon and the glass bottle broke with first freeze. These plastic gauges fit into the holder and DON'T BREAK! Have held u[ well with temperature variances. I am more attentive to emptying them after a rain. Very pleased.
