Worked well, had to slightly bend it to fit. Fixed the chair.

Noticed my recliner mechanism wasn't working properly and saw a spring on one side had broken. Measured the old one, ordered this and it was an exact copy. Perfect fit. 30 second install. I now have an extra in case the other side goes.

Like others, this spring was easy to install. With mine, the leg rest has to be extended in order to install the new one. Just took a little muscle to hook the spring into the correct hole.

One of our recliners broke the spring and the footrest would not stay down. Ordered these springs and 10 minutes after they arrived it was fixed, stuck the extra in a drawer. Week later the spring in the other chair let go, 5 minute fix this time. Time will tell how they hold up, the old ones had 6 years of daily use on them.
