It did what I wanted it to do, heater would not light. This did the trick, only thing is on the older ones you will lose the tip over switch so please keep that in mind.

When the pilot's thermocouple wears out on the portable Mr. Heater MH9BX, you can't just get a replacement thermocouple. This works, with a little modification.

My Buddy heater had a part in it they wanted to charge me as much as it cost to fix it so I ordered this part off of Amazon use the part that I needed off of it now my buddy heater works great
