This tool is well made and works just beautifully. Be sure to check the tool shank size to see if it will fit your lathe. It's not for a mini lathe. Very beefy.

I returned mine however because it was too big for my mini lathe. If they had a 3/8 I would buy it. Really well made product, wish I could use it.

I bought this tool without really investigation it's dimensions. That's on me. However some of these knurling tools list the size of the shank and other's don't. I'm new to knurling and it's tools so I would urge you to either contact the manufacture and ask what size the shanks are. Amazon should list this dimension with the rest of the tool description. I have a small lathe and this tool has a shank of 5/8" which doesn't fit my tool holder.Had I known this before hand I would have bought one that fits my tool holder.
