About this item

  • BLACK PHOSPHATE COATING: Resisting rust, corrosion and abrasion, giving screws a sleek look.
  • CARBON STEEL: Made of strong carbon steel, strong and not easy to deform or slip.
  • COARSE THREAD: Singleline coarse teeth are more suitable for the installation of wood keel.
  • SHARP POINT: The sharp point makes it easier to stab the screw into the drywall paper and get the screw started.
  • BUGLE HEAD: This shape helps the screw stay in place, without tearing the outer paper layer of the drywall.

Product Description

Drywall Screws

COARSE THREAD
Specification:

Drywall screws, flat bugle head, Phillips drive, coarse thread, carbon steel, black phosphate plated, countersunk, self-tapping.

Available in various sizes, please select depending on your needs.

Singleline coarse teeth are more suitable for the installation of wood keel.

When working with softwood, the coarse thread of drywall screws is perfect.

The more coarsely threaded the screw, the tighter it holds. Plus, since it contains fewer threads, it screws into place faster.

In addition, they have bugle shaped Philips heads and piercing tips that are specifically designed to attach drywall to wood and metal studs, while not damaging the drywall in the process. Drywall screws are normally coated in a black phosphate finish.

  • 1/4-inch drywall: Use 1-inch to 1 1/4-inch drywall screws
  • 1/2-inch drywall: Use 1 1/4-inch or 1 5/8-inch drywall screws
  • 5/8-inch drywall: Use 1 5/8-inch or 2-inch drywall screws

Coarse-thread drywall screws work best for most applications involving drywall and wood studs.

Even though these came in a small bag, I didn't exactly need to purchase so many, but they worked great for repairing some chairs where the cushions had to be tightened.

These are great for making furniture or other woodworking projects as well as for drywall. They come in many different lengths and numbers.

I got a couple of bags of the #8 drywall screws. I was not too happy to see they do not seem any different in size than the big box #6 screws I had eyeballing them.

The screws were very sharp so they went into the wood I was working with very easy. I wood is old ruff cut lumber. I am taking don't the house that I was raised in. So the lumber was over 100 years old. My father's parents lived in the house for many years before my parents got it. That's how I know the wood was over 100 probably closer to 150 years old.

I love the screws, they don’t need hardly any pre-drilling because they have a very fine shaft. But unfortunately they can bend if you push them too hard with your drill. Still, they’re amazing and i would purchase them again

They're screws. IT IS A BLASTED BOX OF SCREWS. You want me to write a review for a BOX of SCREWS? Well, they're drywall screws. You use them to screw drywall to wood. I suppose you could use them to fasten other things to still more other things but I wouldn't advise throwing them in a heap and playing jackstraws with them because they are rather sharp. They're screws. They fasten things together! Write a review write a review please write a review! Sheesh.
