PUT THE SUCTION CUP ON A SMOOTH SURFACE
Put the suction cup on a smooth object surface and make sure that the object surface is free of water, oil and dirt.
PRESS THE AIR PUMP QUICKLY AND CONTINUOUSLY
Please press the air pump quickly and continuously until the red line disappears, and the suction cup will be firmly adsorbed on the object. If the red line is found to leak out during lifting, vacuum is being lost, just re-press the air pump until the red cue line disappears.
PRESS THE RELEASE VALVE LEVER
After the work is completed, press release valve lever and remove the suction cup.

I have a friend who owns a glass company and has many cups like this, he’s paid hundreds of dollars and these are just as good. I use these pair to set 32 x 32 Tile, can’t believe how strong and secure. Like I said, WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I've already had cause to use these suction cup handles several times and they made the project possible. First I helped my parents install a new glass shower door. We are DIY people and no way are we going to pay for a relatively easy install when the right tools are at hand! These vacuum suction grips made it easy for two people to move several large pieces of glass from the truck into the bathroom.Second I used these grips when helping a friend move. She had a heavy topped glass table and we were all afraid to break it! The handles again made it super easy for two people to remove the tabletop with some guidance. Sometimes a one trick tool is just what is necessary!

I'm impressed with these heavy duty suction cups! They're incredibly strong and versatile, holding up even heavy objects with ease. I first used these to hang a 4 foot square heavy mirror. I like the Garnome heavy duty suction lifter. Although it did not come with instructions, there are several videos online that helped me figure it out. I have posted pictures in this review to show how to do use this tool.I purchased it to help lift and align my car windows but ran into an issue. The surface you need to lift with this vacuum suction cup needs to be flat but my car window glass has a very slight curve to it and the Garnome suction cup is very big (8"). While it did not work for my application, I tried it on a glass mirror, ceramic tiles and even my smooth wall. The suction was great and it will be great in my tool kit.Using it is very easy. Make sure the cup and the surface being worked on are clean and dry. It takes just about four pumps of the lever with the red band to make a very good suction seal. The red band disappearing in the handle tube is an indication that it is ready to lift. When you are done, you use the vacuum release button on the handle opposite the pump lever to release the hold on the surface. I will try again to see if this will work on the window on the inside curve as opposed to using it on the outside of the window and will update this review. Regardless, I believe this is very useful tool to have in the workshop.

As a general contractor I occasionally have need for a big suction cup or two. I don't handle glass every day, but once in a while I install shower doors, glass french doors, mirrors, or large tiles. These big suction cups are going to be very handy for such jobs. I have been using a small one designed for tile setting, and it works okay. But there is no way of knowing when or if it will lose suction. It's also quite small. These things have a much larger surface area and a nice, sturdy handle. And there is an indicator on the pump that warns you if the vacuum is getting low. It only takes a few quick pumps to get a very solid grip. Just pump until the button stops rebounding and you're ready to go. Push the release lever when you're all done. I would not say these are professional quality but for a handyman who uses them occasionally they look to be more than adequate. They come in a case of decent quality and some extra seals and filters are included. Giving them 5 stars based on the price/value and considering they are for the occasional or hobby user. Great tools to have on hand when you need them.

I stuck these to my truck door to try them. One lost suction in minutes, the other stayed on for a while but fell off overnight. To be fair, it may be that the curvature of the door was more than this 8 inch suction cup could fit.I bought these to add some support for walking on my camps standing seam metal roof. It's a 3/4 (rise/run) roof which is about the maximum slope to walk on. I always have my safety rope and harness on, but if one foot slips, It's scary. I'm looking to use these suction cups to hold "grip mats" to add some better traction. I'll try these out in the springtime. Maybe they'll stick to a flat metal roof better. I could also add a battery alarm with a limit switch that would activate if the vacuum piston extends. I would have time to lean back on the safety rope to prepare for the loss of vacuum. This is my use/risk. I don't recommend anyone to try this themselves!
