I bought this for locking cabinets in the kitchen. It goes well with the color of my dark cabinets. It was easy to install. I am in a rented property so I am not sure how to uninstall it when I will move out, without damaging the cabinets though. I figured out that it's easier to operate from part B side than Part A. I bought it thinking it will completely close the cabinets to where the child can't get her fingers stuck in between but I guess this product does not serve that purpose. It does close the cabinets well to where children can't open them and pull the stuff out.

These child locks 100% work! Just make sure you trim them to the appropriate size for whatever you’re locking. I have one on my stainless steel trash can and on different cabinets and they stick and stay on great and they are super easy to install.

I wanted to love this product due to the dark color matching my cabinets. And although I did love the color when I got them, I did not Love how difficult they were to use. I returned them and accepted a new set incase it was a defect. Second set gave me the same trouble. The issue is with getting the top part off so I could adjust the size of the strap. They just would not come apart. I finally got one to come off after a lot of work and effort. However, I could not get any of the others.Note: It wasn’t user error because I had bought two white packs of these from a different company which they were great and easy to size and install.Pros: customer Service was good. Dark color was great.Cons: Didn’t work.

I have a 16 year old dog who has picked up a bad habit in her old age; getting in the trash. It was annoying me to have to move the trash can every night and oh Lord if I forgot about it, I'd wake up to trash all over the floor in the morning; or work if I forgot before I left. So I decided to try to "child proof" my trash cans rather than spending a lot of money on locking ones. These work absolutely perfectly. I put them on the trash cans and the treat box. I now have peace of mind. I would recommend adding some glue to the adhesive, though. But they work and they are super easy to use.

Absolute junk. They barely "lock" and you have to fight to get them open even tho it's a simple operation. I've bought this style off another vendor for a little more money and they are much better. Spend the extra, being cheap bit me.
