I place these thin little pads down in the daytime area of my piggy's apartment, near his bowl and where he likes to chill. They're easy to change out and enough come in the pack so I only have to wash them once a week and I swear the dirty ones don't smell bad.

Got these liners and 12x12 size to use as pee pads for guinea pug---due to amazing reviews. I opened them, put 2 tsp of water on both sets and set timer. Seven minutes later, the water did not wick to the center of any of them! I don't know why everyone says these are absorbent--- they are just soft and fluffy fleece. Urine sitting on top is a health concern for guinea pigs skin, urine scald--- so I did not bother putting them in my cages after my water test. Such a shame as the print is pretty and they are soft. But if they can't absorb, what's the point? Returning them.

I tried these for my guinea pig in high traffic areas of cage. After a couple of days, I was trying to figure out why my little buddy was covered in urine. I realized the new pads were not absorbing anything. Instead my guinea pig was absorbing all the urine. I will never buy these again.

False Advertising! These are NOT waterproof. The material is soft but it's thin and gets soaked very easily.
