Get these little brushes, along with the diamond file set of pin cleaners, and you will never have a trailer light not working because of a bad connection (or at least you won't have an excuse for a bad connection). These are a perfect complement to the diamond files I got for cleaning trailer plug connections. The files are almost too aggressive unless the terminals are corroded, these brushes are just right for a quick cleaning to get the dirt/gunk/spider nests out. Get both, and you will be able to get a connection no matter how dirty or corroded the terminals are. These are a set of round brushes and non-aggressive files for cleaning the types of terminals commonly found in trailer plugs, both round and flat. Perfect for a quick cleaning, but not really aggressive enough for cutting through heavier corrosion. 5 minutes with both, and all my trailer lights (and brakes) are working as they should again.

Nice kit to clean assorted trailer plugs without causing damage from trying to shove wrong tool to do the job.Recommended if you frequently use trailer plugs.

Works just okay in my opinion. Nothing special about this set and way overpriced. Would not have spent what I paid for it had I known.

These are truly unique little tools. It never ceases to amaze me how corroded many peoples connectors are. Look for a spray by Eureka chemical called "Fluid Film". This is a sleeper product when it comes to eating corrosion and protecting.

Where have these tools been all my life? I'd been messing around with the harness on my truck and the boat trailer for a week...emery cloth rolled up, etc etc...y'all know the drill. Once I received these in 5 minutes I had good strong lights! Fantastic product. I also purchased a tube of Versachem 15339 dielectric grease to help keep the connectors clean.

Had an outside air compressor unit for our main floor decide to pop the plug off from the compressor itself. Noticed the male pin felt very rough and figured it was getting warm and was unsafe. The largest of these tools fit it perfectly, just a few times on and off and I had a good connection. Must have for plugs that are sometimes exposed to weather.

Full disclosure...I only used the tool for the 4-pin connector but the other tools in the package look to perform about as well. Did the job cleaning my trailer connectors but I can't see this tool lasting for more than a few uses. The part that cleaned the male pins was not very sturdy and the compression ring that supposed to pinch the cleaning bits together fell out. I managed to find it and put it back but I can't see it staying in place and that end of the tool is not nearly as tight as before. Definitely not worth the money so I won't recommend this. If you want a tool that lasts look for a better quality one.One minor nitpick...the tools are not labelled for which size goes with which connector so you unless you have memorized what colour applies to which connector you'll be having to try a couple of them before you find the right one.
