It is what it is. No defects, good paint job, no surface rust or such. Nive and heavy, not super heavy duty, but it'll get your towing done.

The steel washer below the ball and above the bolt appears broken on arrival. Have returned it for a replacement

No, I'm not confused, but just trying to come up with something to say. After all, a hitch is a hitch, is a hitch. And this one is a good one from a reputable company.I guess there is variability. Some have greater (and lesser) load capacities. This one is medium-duty, capable of pulling a 7,500-pound trailer. Um, or pushing it, but I've found that a trailer is so much easier to pull than to push.The welds are clean and look solid; the powder coating is neat; the plating on the ball and hardware is shiny and consistent. All-in-all, this is a good hitch for a fair price.

This unit is easily half the cost of a similar style hitch ball from your local trailer supply or big box store. The unit is matte in finish instead of the traditional gloss finish so it will be interesting to see if that impacts its ability to resist rust over time. The ball is a 2" unit so it can fit most smaller trailers that don't require weight distribution. The unit is solid, provides everything you need to get rolling and has some weight to it. Certainly a good purchase for the price.

I was surprised how well this was made. Very good welds. Clean cuts and great matte powder coating. You even get the pin that usually has to be purchased after. It’s a good value and quality product
