This part said it did not fit my 2008 Chevy Trailblazer but in fact it did. Same exact part that I took out of my vehicle that was rusted and not working anymore. I originally bought another part that said it did fit my vehicle but when I took everything apart I realized it was in fact the wrong part! I got on Amazon and ordered the correct part (the part that fits says it doesn't fit the 2008 Chevy Trailblazer on Amazon) it came in 2 days and I had no problem installing it. It was just a tight space to work in. If you have a 2008 Trailblazer then this part will fit!

Product does work but the screw holes in plastic part do not line up so can’t fully fasten it up back in the housing properly

My air condition only worked on position one and two. Position three would work, but I would start smelling a burning smell within about a minute. The fourth position would not work. The fifth position would work, but I would smell the burning smell in about 30 seconds. This fixed all of that, all positions work one through five

Install went fine, was working fine, and then on about the 70th day it just stopped. I'd rather pay more for one that doesn't have to be replaced.

Resistor element is angled different, but fits and works fine.

This item worked great BUT was a mirror image of the factory one and the plug was angled slightly different. The factory plastic molded bracket wouldn't fit. I had to take a dremmel and basically cut out the entire center of the bracket so I could flip it 180 and snap onto this one. It works but could have been designed better.

I also replaced the blower unit as well (bad bearings). According to YouTube there are different mounts for the speed control. One is at 90 deg. the other is a different angle, so I had to take the under dash apart first before ordering. Not the first time I`ve had to check on 2001 Sierra for parts replacement, must have been a transitive production year. Mine was the off angle one. The install went fine, replaced cabin filter, cleaned out the slot it went in (can`t believe all the road gravel, tree seeds, etc. that got raked out). So far, everything still works.

The pins on the resistor were bent and uneven , the resistor had to be turned 180degrees to fit in making the plug hard to install and one of the fan speeds was not great

Product performs perfectly. Well built with proper electrical connections. Doesn't fit exactly and have to seal mounting area as required. Mounting detail is good and secure.
