APPLICATION GUIDELINE
- Ensure surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry and dust free.
- Remove any traces of old sealant with silicone caulking tool.
- Unscrew the cap and peel off the seal on the fube. Apply nozzle supplied.
- Areas beside a joint can be masked with tapefor a neater finish (remove tape before sealant cures).
- Keeping the nozzle at a 45° angle, squeeze the tube to apply silicone into the joint ensuring contact with both surfaces.
- Smooth the sealant with the silicone caulking tool within 5 minutes of application. Replace cap on fube and clean out nozzle with water.
- Sealant will skin over within 30 minutes and cure in 24-48 hours. Avoid water contact untilsealant is fully cured.

I got this because I wanted a clear and durable caulk to use for my deep stainless steel kitchen sink. After 10 years, it was time to get the original caulk replaced as it was just getting gross.Very easy to apply. Definitely recommend paying close attention to cure times before allowing water near it. The initial cure is relatively quick but it recommends 24-48 hours to be fully cured.So far the seal has be PERFECT. It’s been almost 2 months now. No issues with mold or gunk. It’s also durable against my constant cleaning. There wasn’t really a smell, unless maybe your face is right up against it during initial sealing.Price was fair and liked the edging tool that came with it too (so many don’t); plus the two tubes made it even more valuable!

I like how on the product page it tries to be sneaky with 8Oz (instead of 8oz, to make your brain think you're getting more for the price). So far as repair kits go, it's average. The scraper is very cheap, and I feel if I go too rough with the grout it'll just break in half.The sealant itself is fine, pretty standard, but it's a pain to use the built-in tube.

I was able to reseal my tub with less than a tube of the clear caulk. It dried clear and u barely notice it there. I would buy again.

This caulk is great for doing small touch-up jobs that you don’t want to break open a new tube for. For large jobs you’ll really need a caulking gun and the conventional style cylindrical tubes which fit into them, because you’ll be there all day squeezing it out of one of these tubes otherwise.The caulk works well. Drying time is reasonable, and the clear caulk doesn’t turn cloudy once it dries. It provides a great seal.

I used this to redo my turtle dock, a wood frame with ceramic tiles glued to the surface which the turtle lays on while sunning itself under a heat lamp. She destroyed the old one while trying to get out after an extended period of lack of attention as I was busy with my mom in hospital.First I had to remove the old tile and scrape away the old silicone. The tool that came with this kit is a keeper, you are able to scrape away old silicone & caulking with one end and by adding rubber tips you can use the same tool to smooth and fill out your silicone & caulking. It will remain useful far beyond the life of this kit!The kit also contained small rolls of masking tape to help place your tiles and to mask areas you don't want silicone. I didn't use it, any silicone I smudged on tiles I just used a rubbing alcohol soaked pad to wipe it away after I was done.It also came with 2 nozzles that narrow for applying the silicone & caulking, one for each tube in the kit. It helps a great deal to target squeeze the product onto the surface for sure. There were 2 condom looking thingies included too, made of thick latex. No idea what for but I assume to cover the applicator tip or the tube opening before storage if you don't use it all?It is a thick silicone, almost transparent but not quite. It smooths well and it came off the tiles easily as well as off my hands when washing or using alcohol pads to remove it. It dried and set fairly quickly as it states in the description. It has a smell unlike other silicones I have used which usually have a vinegar type odour to them, this one smells slightly more chemical. It has excellent sticking power, about 18 hrs later it appears rock solid and dry although description says up to 72 hrs before fully cured I believe.This was a perfect kit as it came with 2 tubes which were small in size. I used 1 tube completely. If it had been 1 larger tube I would have had to store some and we all know this kind of stuff just never seems to keep no matter how well you try to seal it. Now I have the tool and another tube left for a future project.

As advertized. Works great, no crazy smell. Only 1-star rating down as the one tube was blocked, the silicone was hard and I had to cut it out bit by bit to remove it from the spout, could not squeeze through. Did the job to seal around the kitchen sink, bathroom basin, bath/floor and aroun the toilet. Easy to use. Really nice to have the prep and finishing tools included.
