I believe manufacturers tend to ask you to replace filters on an artificially accelerated schedule to keep their revenue streams chugging along. I got the amazing Smartoo water bowl for my pets back in April and balked at their suggestion to "replace the filter every 1-2 weeks" in the instructions. I use triple-filtered water in their bowl and deeply clean the machine weekly, filters and all. To date, I have been replacing the filter sets every other month. So far, so good.These filters are perfect - they're meant to fit that Smartoo bowl, so they ought to be. Whether you operate on the manufacturer's suggested replacement schedule (these will last 2.5-4.5 months), my replacement rate (they'll last 18 months), or something in between the extremes, for under $3 per set, it's a decent value for this necessary bit of equipment.

My pets love this, and the gallon tank means that I only have to refill every couple days. We have two cats and a large dog that use it, and they can all access easily. The cats like driving straight from the fountain. The dog likes the bowl, but it works great for all.This is the second fountain I've bought. The first one was loud and died quickly. After about four months, this one is still holding up incredibly well.

This product worked great for my cat that won’t drink sitting water. It’s small and compact but holds plenty of water, VERY quiet, sleek design and good bang for the buck. Highly recommend.

We have three small dogs who like their fresh water. Prior to getting this recirculating water bowl we would give them fresh water twice a day. We purchased this just to give it a try and the girls love it, we love it. Having three pups we refill the water once weekly at least or more frequently if needed. There is a windowed lighted opening in the side of the bowl indicating water level. We change the filter weekly due to having three puppets drinking from the same bowl. Absolutely make this purchase for fresh water for your fur babies. Easy set up , easy to follow instructions

I have had like 4 different people help me open the filter cap and I don’t know if I got a defective one but it’s almost impossible to open without breaking it eventually. The filters are good.I would say I wish the pump was lower cause after it’s half way empty it doesn’t flow out anymore.

Very nice unit. Easy to set up and simple to maintain and clean. Filters were ordered as well. Should keep nice clean water flowing for a long time.Our 5 cats love it!
