Great price and filter. The filter is much better than the thin one I am replacing. It has many more layers of wire. The thicker frame was not a problem for my range vent, except where a latch holds it in. I used pliers to easily squish the aluminum frame about 1 1/2" where the latch would be turned. Worked perfectly!

I was about to return this because the fan was hitting the filter and making a loud sound. I fixed this by bending the filter a bit in the middle section to make room for the fan. There is plenty of mesh material on the sides to do so.

Frame around mesh is thicker and stronger than original one. Will buy more, will be awhile cause I got a multi pack. Think these will hold up while.
