Took the old one off. Put on the new one. It fit perfect on my ford 8n . Started right up. It was nice you didn't have to put points in there already in and set. Could not have been easier. I highly recommend.

I had to set the gap on the points, as it was a little too close. I installed the distributor this morning, and the tractor fired right up, first try. I got the product in two days. I am completely satisfied.

Distributor comes preloaded with points, condenser, rotor and cap. Points are preset. A lot better than trying to fix a worn out original distributor.

Actually is well machined .. a bit rough .. but it fits and works perfectly .. the rubber coil gasket is nice .. I had to use the bail from the old distributor as the one that came on it would not close and I didn't have the patience to tinker with it .. also .. I did check point gap and had to adjust it to .015" as it was gapped for what seemed to be .026" which is the setting for the side mount distributor ..

Put this in my old 2n that had a very worn distributor. Fired right up the first revolution and runs better and much smoother than it has in the 3 years I've owned it.

The product I ordered was a replacement front mount distributor for a Ford 8N tractor. It fit perfect and I like the rubber gaskets instead of cork. It was here a couple of days after i placed my order. I am impressed with the professional nature of this business and will recomend new comers and do my business with them in the future.
