I ordered this product because most aquarium test strip kits do not test for ammonia. The only test kit I own for ammonia is the API dropper (not strip) test. The dropper tests take much longer to do, and are messier. However, in my experience, they have more accurate results. Still, I don't have time to constantly use the dropper tests. Sometimes I just want to know quickly if my tank is cycling well, which means testing 1.) Nitrite 2.) Nitrate and 3.) Ammonia. I own multiple other test strip kits for Nitrite and Nitrate, so now I finally own an Ammonia test strip kit as well. My favorite test strip kit comes in a bottle, so I'm pleased that this kit also comes in a bottle. Bottles are much better for storage than those packs you rip open and have to use within a month. You just hold these strips in the tank water for 5 seconds, wait 3 minutes, and you have your results. My test results from these strips matched the results from the dropper test. Overall, I recommend this product.

These ammonia test strips has so far not detected any ammonia in the aquarium which I hope is correct. But I thought I should mention that the strips have a strong odor which tends to linger on your fingers. I'll be using latex gloves when handling them in the future.

I've been using these for several weeks now and they are very simple to use. I have not been able to take them in to my aquarium shop to test side-by-side to a liquid test, which is the gold standard. As such, I cannot speak to the accuracy of these strips.

I was using these to test for ammonia levels in my aquarium, and was getting a zero reading multiple times, so I stuck the strip into a bottle of ammonia.... And it still registered zero. Absolute trash. Amazon refunded my money, so that's good, but the strips were a waste of time and energy.

I got this for my brother for Christmas because he’s into aquariums. He is very happy with the item. Now he can test the water more often than he has been. It function is just like what you think it does. It really does help to keep track of the ammonia level in the tanks.

Currently using these to test and monitor ammonia levels for a fish tank that contain trout eggs and they have been working great. Very easy to use and read, these have been keeping ammonia levels measured daily to optimize our tanks life. Would highly recommend for any fish aquarium or pond enthusiasts.
