I first purchased a Gates radiator cap instead of this one. The Gates leaked. It was not well made and they cheaped out on the rubber under the cap. The Gates didn't have any. This cap has some good thick rubber under the cap. It doesn't leak. You can feel when you put it on that it's extra tight

There were several choices to buy from but I lean toward name brand such as this. I don’t think I have ever been disappointed with Delco products.

For about Half Price of Local Parts store, got a QUALITY, properly functioning, Radiator cap. These sucker's are not MADE IN CHINA GARBAGE.....MADE IN INDIA. HAVE ALWAYS INDIAN CRAFTWORK, PEIDE IN THEIR WIRJ, AND QUALITY OF THEIR WORK 50 TIMES BETTER THAN 'SLAVE LABOUR CHINA WORK'!AS soon as changed out my 12 year old Rad Cap....for this one...NIGHT & DAY DIFFERENCE! IT IS ON A 96' CHEVY SILVERADO....BUT NOW...TRUCK HEATS UP FASTER, DEFROSTS QUICKER...VERY IMPRESSED WITH QUALITY, PERFORMANCE AND PRICE! EXCELLENT PRODUCT....WELL WORTH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!
