Works fine, I wanted to use it for flow control to a humidifier and it’s not designed for that (and doesn’t work well for flow control) but it’s a well built valve.

The fitting I received was so wonderful that I ordered another one! Both fittings were 3/8x1/4x3/8 compression which was perfect in size and shape for the dyi to use on their project although I had orderedthe 3/8x3/8x3/8 compression. These fittings were made of high quality brass, packaged in a nice, clear, plastic bag, sealed with a label stating the size. These 2 fitting never leaked (as though they may have) if they were of the correct dimension. They were so great that I ordered a pair of 3/8x3/8x3/8 compression fittings from a different Amazon page in a package that contained 2 wonderful brass fittings of the size I needed to complete my project. No leaks and I ordered before the tariff kicked in so they were cheap. These two fittings were sealed in a nice clear plastic box that will be useful to store other little trinkets.Would I order again, of course I would, the first two will be proudly displayed on my mantle as a tribute to the fine Amazon employees. Thank Bezos for his generosity supporting the 47th and make the wealthy richer.
