The XL djembe bag fits djembes, ashikos, bugarabus, or dumbeks with maximum outside diameter of 16" (including tuning hardware) and 26" tall. This hand-crafted percussion bag features: * variety of famous Kente cloth prints from western Africa * triple-layer construction: cotton cloth, inside and outside with foam padding in-between * zipper and reinforced shoulder straps * tie strings to secure the belly of the drum * medium-duty grade offers some protection from elements, but is not suited for professional level protection or airline travel * although all African drum bags are multi-colored kente print, colors and patterns do have variations from pictures - depending on the kente-style cloth prints available in local markets in Ghana.

The bag looks nice and works fine, fits nicely to the drum, has a nice cinch strap around the base and adjustable shoulder straps that make it easy to carry your drum around and a good quality zipper. However the material has less padding than I would like and the stress points along the straps should have stronger stitching. Also the base could be reinforced as that is where a lot of wear occurs. Overall a fine bag for the price but if you gig a lot it won't hold up long or protect your drum very well.

I really like this bag. I have a large djembe and there's ample room. The pattern of the fabric is bright and cheery, I really like that too. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of five is the backpack straps. They are much too long, and they're not adjustable, so the drum flops all over the place. It does not rest comfortably against my back, so I have to just sling both straps over one shoulder and be on my way. Otherwise, I think its great. It seems well built as well, but I've only used it twice so far.

This bag is good for protection from scratches. The fabric is colorful enough so folks are less likely to bump into it. It fit my west African Ghana djembe very well. It was getting difficult to find a bag because the base is 10/12 " but this bag does the job.

I like the color and the material. It is a light weight bag, which is what I prefer. I needed a bag with a wide bottom because my new drum has a monster truck tire on the bottom giving it an 11 inch base diameter. It just fits. The problem is the straps are too short. I am a small person and with the strap let out all the way I can hardly get it over my shoulders. A husky person probably couldn’t fit their arms in the straps. The last few cases I had always had an extra 10 inches of strap left after I adjusted it. It’s a good economy bag, too bad they skimped on the strap length. It’s not made for full size adults.

My drum fits perfectly in the case, which appears to be well made. I would have given it 5 stars if there had not been one sewing flaw - part of the backing shows along the zipper. I would recommend this item to others. One of my friends also bought this item and is pleased - hers does not have the sewing flaw.

I know that the listing said that I would get a random color, however I received a bright pink bag that was not shown anywhere in the listing. I mean, I am ok with the color pink, but it was definately NOT my first or even tenth choice for a Djembe bag to roll up to the drum circle with.

I did not like how this was made. In addition, some labels were missing and others just stitched at random. I have returned this item
