After checking all of the local stores and having no results, I found this filter on Amazon. It's the perfect size and direct replacement for the hood above my stove. It's light and has a fabric type backing which will trap and airborne grease particulates and will also filter the air that is drawn through it.

Couldnt believe it was a perfect fit after trying to research my old over the stove fan/filter information. Had no issue putting in place, fit like a glove. Have it earmarked in case I need another one.

The filter works just fine, getting two-at-a-time is very helpful. It was a little tricky to install, but I blame that upon the manufacturer of the exhaust-fan hood.

There are so many options and simply measuring was not as easy as it sounds but my son had just burned meat and I needed a replacement ASAP. This was perfect, and his cooking odors are well-absorbed by the charcoal in the filter. I am ordering the double pack today so I always have them on hand.

Exact same size as my ancient one but didn’t fit. I was able to bend it enough to get it in. This was my second attempt at getting one to fit.

I love the filter but unfortunately with the charcoal filter added to the inside of the wire mesh it stops the fan from rotating. It was such a snug fit getting it in, it bent so I won't send it back. I'm going to try and put some weather stripping around the edges to see if that will bring it far enough back so it won't hit the fan.C'est la vie.
