A friend recommended that I get one of these for self protection in my home. Boy is it loud. Actually hurts my ears, but it would do the job if some strange person shows up at my door. Also, recently we have had a lot of mountain lion sightings where I live. I go for walks alone all the time and decided to start carrying this with me in my pocket. It’s quite small. But if a mountain lion decided to stalk me, this would scare it away in a New York minute! Makes me feel a lot safer on the trails.

Works well. The sound is great. I use it when I have coyotes in my backyard at night.

Very loud in a small little package. Not sure how many pumps it will provide but a great little tool to have.

The button you push to blow the horn fell off before it was ever used. Amazon refused to replace it and obviously the manufacturer doesn’t stand behind their product.
