Galvanized steel, Thick tubing. You could tighten the bolts right up to the point of probably breaking them and the tube didn’t deflect. Extremely happy I spent just a little extra money for the quality that I received. Kudos to whoever put the directions together because they were well thought out. It’s a masking machine you could use in a production body shop. I was a body shop manager for 20 years

After reading the horror stories in the reviews of other masking machines I choose the ALC Keysco. This is definitely American made! Clear concise instructions. Takes about 15 minutes to assemble. All holes line up and all parts fit perfectly.You don't need to drill holes to assemble this masking machine. You will need a roll of paper and a roll of masking tape before you can line up the rollers for the masking tape. And these rollers are not wobbly. The tape is dispensed straight and even on the paper. The spring and retainers that hold the paper in place are metal and function properly. This is well worth the money!

The product was great already put together. Convenient and easy to store. The delivery not so great. I was sitting on the porch and the driver did not see me he threw the package 5ft onto my porch. I will be reporting this to Amazon thank God it was not glass

Buy this not the other imported crap. I only wish this company would make one like the import step stool type. This is a quality masking machine, also with a little imagination you could mount it to a wall.

Others are saying how wonderful this is. I think it's junk and not nearly as nice as my Astro tree style masker. The spring that fastens the tape to the paper appears to be the biggest problem. Also to put a standard roll of tape on the tape holders is a pain as either my 233+ tape has too small of a hole or their tape holders are too big. I just don't like it at all.
