This deluxe+ rack is sturdy and secure once we adjust the straps. We did not have and loosening issues, and it's easy to remove, store and and reattach once the initial fitting is done. Highly recommend!

Just 4 starts not 5, because At the beginning I found a little difficult to understand the shape of it. I had to look for a video in YouTube. After that it worked very well.

I replace a more expensive bike carrier that was not as user friendly or secure as this one. Easy set up -without looking at the directions if you have any experience with these.These are also designed to tilt the closest bike away from the car.I always use cloth where the hooks have contact with the car and always use bungee cords for added support.

generally is ok to have it, but I have to use a duct tape inside the hook so that it won't damage paint of the trunk. The hooks have not any protection for surface contact.

Fits my late-model Subaru Impreza perfectly. Folds down surprisingly small. I was concerned that the straps would not work with the Impreza's rear spoiler-like body part but I need not have worried; it's fine. The manufacturer’s website has a page where you can specify a year, make, and model of car and it lists which of their products fit. I recommend this over a custom receiver hitch installation plus a bike rack for smaller cars like the Impreza. (Once, I installed a custom hitch receiver on a Toyota Corolla. The thing weighed down the rear end of the car, even without a bike rack attached; I had to adjust my headlights. I recommend not doing that; buy this trunk-mount hitch instead).

This is my second or third bike carrier. It's hands down the very best. I bought one recently that I had to return because the metal support arm seemed to be installed backward. This one is very easy to set up. Once you get the idea of where all the straps get placed, you're good to go. The bike fits on the rack and doesn't move around. I bought bungie cords expecting to have to secure the bike in place and I ended up not needing the.m If you're going to transport a bike, this is the one to get. One side note: I have ebikes and it does not fit two of them at a time. The ebikes are much bigger and bulkier than regular bikes so just a heads up.

I could give this 5 stars if the hooks had been coated in rubber or silicone to prevent slipping (and unhooking) while on the road, but with those modifications, this will work for us in the future. As is, the side hooks slip and come off. They were tight, but the trunk is at a slant so the hooks slip off. This makes the rack extremely unstable, but we kept hooking them back on because we had no options. I've kept the bike rack and next time I go to home depot, I'm going to get some silicone caulking or something and make the hooks non-slip. It's not a reason not to purchase, because it can easily be fixed.

Il prodotto si presenta solid, robusto e di buona fattura.Purtroppo però non è possibile utilizzarlo con bici che hanno un telaio con doppio tubo (molto comuni....ne ho 2 così).Impossibile anche inserire la parte posteriore della bici in quanto il tubolare che dovrebbe passare fra il telaio e il parafango della ruota posteriore è troppo grosso. Peggio ancora se sulla bici è montato l'aggancio per un seggiolino per bambini.Peccato...ho fatto il reso.
