This tank was installed on a 1973 Prowler.The model only came with a blackwater tank and I needed to retrofit this for boondocking.This tank fit perfectly between the frame and the cross members with a custom support bracket.By using 2 inch angle iron it was easy to make a support frame that spanned between the frame beams and tucked it up under the belly.Measured carefully, welded, primed, painted it and used 4 bolts through the frame to attach the support frame and cradle the tank.The support frame ended up looking like a small bed frame.The lip on the tank to hang it has 3 inch of height, which fit well under the belly in the depth of the 4 inch tall pocket made by the frame c beams.I centered it left to balance weight of water and to give plenty of room for pipes and bulkheads.Using ICON 12483 Holding Tank Fitting - 1-1/2" Rubber Grommets I made an inlet for waste water from sinks and shower and an inlet for a one way Studor 20346 Redi Vent (this is so when the tank is drained the rushing vacuum created pulls air from the vent so it doesn't suck the water out of the pea traps on the drains)Using a Valterra T1041-1 Eccentric Tank Reducer I plumbed the drain to a gate valve and the on to the wye that connects to the dump connection drain hose fitting.This tank and its construction meant that I was confident the time and materials needed to make this upgrade were well worth it.It has dimples for installing sensors if I want to add a meter inside to monitor levels, which I will do next year.Thick, consistent walls, durable and true + square dimensions mean I wouldn't hesitate if you think you would like to upgrade your vintage trailer.

I scooped up this tank when the price was half the current price! I did some frame modifications on my Airstream restorationand am so happy that I saved at least a little money and didn’t have to buy a $500 original replacement.

Just purchased this tank. It looks pretty thick and sturdy. I have not installed this yet but I cannot wait to go from a 10 GAL gray water to this 32 gallon. Tank does not include sensor probes and a 3" pipe fits snugly inside the outlet. Also in case anyone is wonder for future reference, it does not have holes pre drilled and the photo in the description is accurate.

Good size 33g and perfect fit. I used to add grey and black water tanks to horse LQ horse trailer. Great price other sites wanted almost twice as much. Made hole on top to connect water discharge worked great. Could be a bit thicker but works.
