I've had my office chair for about 6 years. The chair itself is really comfortable, but the material on the arm rests were always falling apart and it finally got too annoying to ignore. These replacement arm rests were super easy to install and they feel really good. I will update this review in the future if I experience any durability issues, but as of 11/15/2022, I'm very satisfied with this.

Despite what the line right above this review says these replacement arm cushions are designed to work for two mounting screw spacings: 4 inches or 5.5 inches (not 5 inches). I needed the 5.5" spacing for my chair. The cushions came with two sets of black replacement Allen head (hex head) screws: a short set and a longer set plus an Allen wrench (hex key). The shorter set fit my chair. The cushions are quite a bit firmer than the originals but still comfortable. Maybe they will last longer than the originals.

I bought these to replace the crumbling originals on my "Space" executive chair. They blend aesthetically and function as well as the originals. They also appear to be made of a material that will ultimately be more durable.My only complaint is that the heads on the supplied screws are smaller than necessary for my application. When tightening them against the plastic pedestal on which the armrest mounts, the heads started to pull through the plastic holes. Some washers I had in the garage sorted that out, but if I hadn't had those, it wouldn't have worked.Also, make sure you choose the shortest screw that works. If you use one that's too long, the end of the screw will jab your elbow when you lean on the armrest, and I suspect it would ultimately poke through the surface.

Used this product to replace arm rests on 2 different office chairs. Easy installation since arm rests were provided with multiple different screw lengths and included allen wrench.

The original plastic armrests for my chair were killing my elbows. Decided to try these over the strap on arm pads. Only took a few minutes to change out. My elbows are so much happier.For install make sure you pick the correct screw length(comes with short and long) and you have someone/something stop the chair from swiveling.

I'm pleased with the arm pads, easy to install and they look and feel good. Why the 1 star rating? The screws and wrench were missing from the box i received. So, a trip to my local hardware store with arm pad in hand, I determined the screw size to be metric M6. I allowed for my chair arm bracket thickness plus thread engagement in the arm pad to find an acceptable M6 Flat Head screw length. You don't want a screw that is too long as it protrudes into the arm pad foam and you will feel the screws once installed.
