It works ok when outside. I wish the FM reception was better but I do live in a rural area. Battery last for hours and the small size is very convenient when I'm outside doing landscaping etc. I velcro it to my hat which also helps with reception. It's a good product...so far...

Lasted one charge cycle. Worked great but is now unusable as it won’t turn on and won’t charge.

got this to save battery life on my phone as well as data since radio station apps use a lot of data it seems. for something this cheap I was not expecting much. It is not tiny but that is okay with me as readability is helpful...function is simple and easy to figure out. I have not used the headphones since I have better ones so I can not review those. Oddly, many more stations came in on it than my desktop radios. This is important as we live in a rural area and most items struggle to get stations and those that do sound rough.When I travel I like to save the phone charge and data if I am just doing radio stations. This seems to work for that. It weighs hardly anything. It has a big display so if that is helpful for you then....yah....it also lights up so reading this is easy enough I dont need to find my reading glasses. Have not tested how long it goes on a single charge yet. Only plus would be a micro sd slot.....but the price would be more I would expect.

Reception and sound quality are acceptable, but station selection and preset capability is sorely lacking. This radio has an auto-program option. It starts at the bottom of its FM range and quickly hits its total of 30 presets without completely scanning the band. It allows you to then delete any unwanted presets, BUT no way to save anything in those newly-freed presets. There is no option to manually select stations to be saved.And did I mention it's FM range is 64.0 Mhz to 108.0 Mhz. The United States FM radio band is 88.0 to 108.0 Mhz so there is 24 Mhz of FM band to scan thru before you find anything. That is a lot of manual clicking.I want to like this little radio with its rechargeable battery and simple controls. It seems to remember the last station selected, so it may work as a ball park radio.Don't get bored and try to channel surf. You'll have a lot of clicking to do.

I used to buy the SanDisk Clip for its built in FM radio. 5 to be exact. The trouble is the earphone jack usually failed. The solder tabs to the circuit board would fail even with careful use. I’ve not had any problems with this radio.This radio looks to be made by several Chinese manufacturers but the quality of mine is good both in build quality and performance. The SanDisk Clip also has a MP3 player but I don’t need that feature and never used it. I just needed a small earphone FM radio and this is perfect for me. I like the larger screen too.

When we travel sometimes I can't sleep and I like to listen to the radio with headphones so I don't disturb others who are sleeping. This is great. It has a sleep timer, both AM and FM and it is rechargeable so even if I forget to charge it, I can use it with a portable charger. I love it and would get another if anyone in my family wanted one! I certainly would buy it again if I ever need to! It is compact and easy to use as well.

WHAT I DISLIKE IS NO INSTRUCTION. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW IT WORKS. I TRIED 3-4 TIMES TO OPEN THE DEVICE WITH NO SUCCESS. I REGRET I BOUGHT IT AT IT’s ON MY BOOK SHELF DOING NOTHING. I HONESTLY THOUGHT IT WOULD BE EASY BUT NOT AT ALL. SEND ME INSTRUCTIONS AS I AM NOT A GENIUS .
