I give this five stars for packing in so many usable features at a rock bottom price. You can buy these like candy and keep an emergency radio everywhere. After much testing, here are my pros and cons:PRO:* The Si4732 receiver chip’s capabilities are well documented elsewhere online* Full color screen is bright and clear* Good sensitivity, but take care not to overdrive with a large antenna* Built-in 800mAh battery lasts for hours* AM, FM, Lower Sideband, and Upper Sideband modes* Displays station ID when sent OTA via RDS on FM band* Signal meter with color cues* Adjustable BFO for fine tuning signal drift* FM radio goes wide, from 64MHz to 108MHz* No obvious birdies or other digital RFICON:* Can’t enter frequency directly* No aviation band* No power timeout options, so easy to run battery dead* No computer functions (e.g., firmware update) seem to be available via USB port* 1kHz muting while tuning* Single encoder wheel for all functions is cumbersome* You have to spin encoder to select a function quickly or it times out* Scanning stops on the first hit, then you have to select scan function again* 3.5mm audio jack has a low volume signal* CB band in US not easily used due to no FM modulation* No Bluetooth audio transmitter built in (a $8 BT works well though)* No pre-programmed US weather or emergency frequencies* No way to store fave frequencies, so no scanning of faves* Supplied summary doc is very limitedThe novelty, however, makes this a must-have for radio geeks.

I have two of these radios bought from Aliexpress.Be aware that this radio has a small bug in its firmware. If you use USB/LSB and want to adjust the AGC/ATT setting, it will do nothing. There is a workaround!Change to AM mode. Then, adjust AGC/ATT setting snd it works just fine. Lastly, change back to USB/LSB mode and the setting will continue to work and be retained. This will be retained if you power off/on the radio. If you want to use headphones/earbuds with this radio: use a plug-in headphone amplifier. Otherwise, it will be too weak for fidelity listening. The bb "donut" antenna works better than the whip in my opinion.
