Works great with Dewalt batteries. Instructions for use are a little lacking especially in the area of station storage and recall. No explanation of the time display at all. Sound quality is fair don't expect high fidelity but for a work radio more than adequate. Very satisfied with the purchase and meets my needs.

I bought this radio to replace a DEWALT JOBSITE RADIO for me wood shop.This radio literally works 100% better than the DEWALT radio….I had several issues with the DEWALT radio, from reception being terrible, I could set the radio stations I normally listen to, but it would not maintain the presets. Trying to scan the stations to reset, it would not maintainâ€jump†past actual station, it would;d take FOREVER to get that radio set up.This NEW RADIO’ is a breeze to set up… reception is perfect. It is in the SAME PLACE the DEWALT radio was .no static, perfect sound…and Very Easy to set up stations.

Hubby was looking for a portable radio for the garage with BT, found this on sale, received and am super impressed with the quality, sound and performance. Definitely appreciate the fact it runs on a rechargeable battery that also fits his cordless tools as well as a/c. We live out in the country, the reception of am and fm stations is great. Highly recommend!
