Son loves these skates, he even wears them around the house. They look like my 800 dollar skates and fit perfectly. From what I can tell my scraping my nail on them is that they are already sharpened. Highly recommend

Excellent quality ice skates! My son doesn't want to leave the rink on these things, and he learned to skate on them. I may have 50+ heart attacks while he is on the ice :) But we are all very happy with his first pair of ice skates.

We bought these skates for our 8 year old son to wear for his Hockey team. They broke the second time he ever put them on. As he was tying his skate up, the lace-hole ripped right through the leather. We couldn't believe it had happened. He had only ever worn them once before.

I like it because they look/feel/smell durable.....haha!Although i bought a bigger size, i having really high hopes that these skates will last until my niece (even those skate's indicate boys) grows out of it, and then soon pass it down to my nephew.No complains

the first pair arrived without a lid on the shoe box, looked like they were thrown into a plastic trash bag and then packed for shipping. Not such a big deal, but one of the eyelets on the right skate was torn out and the stitches were coming undone. The replacement pair arrived promptly and in brand new condition, to include a full shoe box and even little plastic blade guards that didn't come on the first pair I received. My son is 4 years old and wears a size 9 shoe. Got him the size 10 skates and they seem to fit well with perhaps a little room to grow in the toes, but snug on the sides. Going to take them out on the ice to get broken in this evening and I will get his feedback to update this review. So far though, very happy with these skates. Good fit, good design, and ankle support seems ample. Deducting one star for the beat up pair I initially received.
