The space under our sink is tight. When our old disposal housing cracked, we researched and found this slimline model. Highly rated, we found a great price on AMAZON. It arrived quickly and surprise...it was RED! It was easier to install this new model than to remove the old one and now we're stylin, with ample room under the sink!

My neighbor bought this Disposal on Amazon .When my old disposal failed, He’s a licensed plumber.The disposal is great except two thing 1 the splash guard is too rigged., you have to manually empty the guard by hand.2nd our sink fills with water,, even if I leave the water running even on low.? Like an air lock. Won’t let the water flow out the disposal drain.Ordered new splash guards to see if they will help😳I’ll be back 😎Ok! I have returned with good news, I received my new splash guard today from Amazon's speedy delivery service. For my Disposal unit, The splash guard worked great .

I know looks shouldn't matter under the sink on a disposal but what a nice surprise that not only does it function great but looks amazing, really nice looking disposal!!

Powerful and easy to install yourself. Definitely a good value. Mine has worked flawlessly for a year. I just bought a second one, for another sink.

I actually got this disposer somewhere other than Amazon, but just wanted to write a review here to say how pleased I am with this disposer. With a 1.25 HP motor, it really grinds up anything that goes in and out of it. When you turn the switch on, you can easily tell that this disposer means business.The size is also VERY nice as it doesn't take up so much room under your sink. However, the size doesn't affect it's ability at all. It is really strong.Finally, installation is easy and American Standard gives you most everything you would need for a good, clean installation. This disposer certainly deserves five start.
