I'm happy with the wheel but it arrived scuffed. I tried cleaning it off with a scrub brush and dish soap but these marks won't come off. Not sure if it got damaged during shipping, but still disappointing that it's scuffed

I had unwittingly trapped some moisture under some paint on my big sculpting wheel...and you can imagine where that eventually led. I was surprised how quickly a heavy duty turntable could be outmatched by a tiny amount of water, but here we are. So, how does this replacement stack up?This is a budget minded offering. Don't get me wrong, it. earns the heavy duty description, but it is not quite as heavy duty as the older ones I am used to. Noticeably less metal was used to make thinner body parts. Now...I don't go throwing my wheel around, so I haven't really needed it to be quite as heavy duty as it was...but now that it's gone I kinda miss it. This is about 60% the thickness all the way around, so it is also lighter...but it isn't sliding around or anything like that. Unless there is a weakness to the metal I just can't see with visual inspection, this should last as long as I put in the energy to caring for it. I like that it has the rubber foot on bottom, not all of them come with that. This is going to be my main wheel now, so I will be able to update relatively soon in there are any catastrophic failures brought on by use with heavy clay loads and the like. but so far, very happy, great value for the money, and I would definitely get again.

This is a solid, heavy wheel with good quality bearings - for the smaller scale stuff I am interested in this is perfect. I had no issues with it slipping on the table.

This 7-inch pottery wheel is compact, but made of cast iron for both the base and top, and weighing around 1.6 kg.The entire underside of the base is covered with rubber, and it remains stationary when placed on a stable surface. The rotating is smooth, and there is no wobbling on the top surface.If the top size suits your project, I highly recommend this wheel.
