I usually don't leave reviews but I'm very impressed with this little machine. I bought it to do a craft class at my job. I don't have pottery skills so it was something for all of us to try. Compared to the kid one this is a great step up for sure. My granddaughter seems to just have the knack for pottery wheels at only 5. This is very durable and easy to set up and use. Make sure you have a small table and chair for your height and comfort. It's not too heavy and not too light. Honestly don't even bother getting the child kind for kids if you are at all interested in trying a wheel. The child kind doesn't compare to this. This has the tub that you can rest your arms on and keep your hands stable and there is no lag in turning and no batteries to deal with. The clean up is a breeze! Great machine for the price!

got this so my kids could start practicing throwing pottery. overall, it works well but is definitely for beginners or kids. works as it should but needs a little extra work for leveling the wheel.

It can't hold center. And doesn't have any power. Had to send it back.

The unit is grate but did not receive the adjustable lags.Will have to order some separately if possible can’t have it not leveled on the floor

A decent little wheel, but more for beginners. Foot pedal is extremely sensitive. Hard to reach a slower, consistent speed. Had trouble with adhered clay to the wheel, and it's very difficult to level as the feet seem to be lopsided. Easy to use, and disassemble though.
