I’ve research tiki umbrellas for a long time, this one was the best choice in terms of appearance and price and did not disappoint. It was previously purchased and returned and arrived in perfect condition at a great price. Unfortunately I have an apartment size patio and the umbrella was just too big to fit, if it was made in a 6 foot diameter I would buy it in a second.

I read several reviews on different thatch umbrellas. All of which said that it shed everywhere, severely. I live in Lancaster Ca where it is extremely windy most everyday of the year. Hard to find a lot that will withstand the wind for anything you want to keep outside. We'll I've only had it up 24 hours, but it is windy! Not one strand of thatch has come off. Even when it tipped over, due my new umbrella stand (another review), still nothing shed. It is beautiful and very large. I'm obsessed and will be ordering a second one.

I’ve only had this umbrella for one month and it broke already! We had a pretty bad windstorm and somehow the button that makes it tilt fell out and the umbrella is now stuck in the tilted position. The umbrella is beautiful and provided the tropical feel I was going for, but it’s smaller than expected and doesn’t provide much coverage from the sun. The tilt option wasn’t helpful in shading from the sun in my opinion anyway. Another complaint with this umbrella is that the button to open and close it is too high and difficult for short people like me. I’m thinking that the larger umbrella with no tilt and crank handle might be a better option?Update: The seller properly addressed my concerns and gave me a full refund for this purchase. Excellent customer service!

This is adorable 🥰 looks very nice in my pool area. Pretty sturdy/heavy. Up close you can tell it’s basically shredded plastic (like the grocery bags you get from store) the underside is also nice. I think it’s well made and am happy with my purchase.

Love these things, they aren’t going to fool anyone, the strands are plastic, but they look good and give the tiki feel I was looking for, they seem well built, mine were “used in good condition†and they were perfect. Zero issues and I get a lot of compliments on them. Very satisfied with my purchase.

This is a lovely umbrella. It goes up easily and provides adequate shade. It also bends as shown in the video. Recommend if you’re looking for tiki vibes. Hoping it hold up in our desert winds.
