A recent windstorm ruined our old patio umbrellas on the deck, so I had to find a decent replacement and I actually did! I decided on this brand after reading the reviews and want to add my observations. For the price I think the quality is more than satisfactory. It's big enough to provide adequate shade and is well built. For example: my previous umbrellas were just connected by a single string that opened and closed it. As you can see by the picture: this umbrella uses 2 ropes to help it open more smoothly and there is also a nylon wheel that helps the rope when the umbrella is being opened or closed. A small detail, but others (I've seen in stores) in this price range don't offer such attention to detail. The actual fabric material that makes up the umbrella seems sturdy and durable. Also, there is a tie down sewn into the fabric that allows you to close and secure the umbrella, another minor detail I appreciate. In all, this is a worthwhile purchase if you're looking for a durable umbrella that appears will make the purchase worthwhile for the long term. Highly recommend this umbrella. Oh yea, the color was supposed to be green, but is more a blueish green which looks better than the picture in the listing.

Arrived timely and undamaged. I ordered two 10’ umbrella's. The umbrella pole is heavy duty, has a flat bottom, not a point, for safety. It cranks open easily and once open, the tilt button is exposed which once depressed, tilts the umbrella easily. The umbrella color is exactly as pictured. I ordered the navy blue. Since the umbrella is large, 10’, be sure to use a large base if free standing and not in a table with a base. 10’ provides a lot of sun protection but 10’ is a large umbrella on a windy day so stability is important. I’m using one umbrella in a table base and the other free standing umbrella I purchased a large, up to 70lb. supportive base. I highly recommend this umbrella because it’s easy to set up, it cranks up open easily and I can tilt it easily with a push of the button. Additionally, I just loosen the pole base screw and turn the pole, once tilted, to adjust for the sun direction changes. Easy peasy.

Very big, very good. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that the crank is not on par with the rest of the umbrella. It is a little flimsy and the housing is plastic. The actual crank is metal but the housing is plastic and moves around a little. Everything else is very very good. Color is deep and rich, tilt works perfectly and it actually holds up in wind pretty well (accidentally found that out when I left them up during a storm...although I don't advise it, just good to know they didn't blow to pieces in a gust of wind).

I have purchased several of these umbrellas. They are solidly built, the canvas is strong & thick, not cheap. I will continue to purchase in the future. Very happy!

For the price, it was excellent. It didn't hold up in the wind. In defense of the product, it was wind off the hurricane that came off Florida to NC and SC. That sure wasn't normal conditions. Our son owns a heating air company and told me we needed to shade our unit from the hot son. He was pleased with the protection.

Very thin fabric you can feel the heat from the sun go right through it. The fabric is very thin. I ordered the medium blue. I have another thicker fabric umbrella (different company) that I am kept cool when I sit under it during the heat of the day. However, this umbrella has such a thin fabric, although shaded, I can feel the heat of the sun go right through it. So if you are looking for coolness as well as shade and UV protection look for another product. On the good side, the fabric dries extremely fast after a rain. It is well made and sturdy. The mechanisms works smoothly and flawlessly. The fabric may be thin but tough and will hold up. It just wasn't performing like I needed.
