These are lock ring not snap ring and do well on 1 inch or smaller.

These are well built pliers. They are heavy and not cheaply made. The spring on it is strong. The tip is wider than I expected, but it will work for the job I bought these for. If you need a smaller tip pliers, I recommend you pay particular attention to the dimensions of these pliers.

These worked well to adjust the c-clip position to adjust the height on the Bilstein 6112 coilovers for my GX470. Wished the dimples were holes but that would probably affect the strength of the tips.

I bought this actually to do work on my older Lionel trains. Not what they were intended for, but they work exactly what I need them for to separate E-Units to replace the barrels and fingers.
