Screws were stainless so thy should not rust, easy to understand instructions, you have to have the special wrench to install & remove the anti-theft license plate screws.

A few days after relocating to a different area, my license plate was stolen and after spending an entire day at the police department and tag office, an activity I didn't want to repeat, I decided to order this hardware and am glad I did. I have peace of mind in knowing that my license plate is more of a challenge to remove than the traditional hardware that can easily be removed with any screwdriver. It's a fact that license plate theft is on the rise so the cost of this anti-theft hardware is a cheap price to pay for added security. This item came with a lot of extra stuff I didn't need and couldn't use. I only needed the screws and driver bit, which I ordered from a different seller previously but never received (ordered this 2x more expensive set after $ was refunded). This is the downside to this set: unusable and unnecessary extras included which equates to a much higher price than it should be. Overall, I would purchase this set again (quick shipping, convenience, etc.)

Reasonable means to attach license plates. Used attaching plate to a plate bracket mounted on each bumper (dealer installed). Would have preferred screws have flat ends in lieu pointed. End caps are plastic; time will tell whether they are durable; would have preferred end caps be metal. ...But, works.Didn’t use provided double-headed screw driver; Philips end looked too small & maybe prone to stripping. Could have been supplanted by metal washers.Effective attaching has to do with length of screw (¾" provided); even using with screw inserts (needed to attach end caps), used a metal washer between screw insert & license plate to fully tighten.
