Title says it all. My Driver side door actuator died/ got so weak it wouldn't open unless you used the manual release. Replaced with this product and it is a perfect replacement. It feels strong and works well so we will see if it lasts but so far it seems pretty good.

Exactly as described. Replaced original actuator that stopped working. I had the problem in which my exterior keypad and interior power door button would no longer electronically open my door. This went in easily and is a perfect fit. Use a T-30 bit to remove the actuator and a T-10 to open the cable housing. A+

So it works, but not always at the first attempt. It seems that moderately cold weather (Bay Area) makes it sometimes not work at the first attempt. Specifically, when the door button is pushed, the window clicks down, but the door does not pop open. It does always eventually open. However, sometimes it opens at the first attempt, and sometimes it might tale 4 attempts. You get what you pay for here, and this item performs as though it is a poorly remanufactured unit. Given the dexterity it took to install the levers on this unit, I was hoping to never have to do this again. If I had known this, I would have jus paid once for the expensive AC Delco unit. Eventually, I will get annoyed by the inconsistency of this unit and buy the AC Delco. It's not the cost that bothers me, but the time out of day in installing this thing, and the fact that this unit will likely end up in a landfill somewhere.
